Our Radio Show

Since we first got on the air in May‚ 2001‚ Mary Ellen South has been the voice of the FRWRC on our local radio show‚ “Voices of Valley Women.” Back then we were doing two shows a month. For almost nine years Mary Ellen single–handedly coordinated and interviewed all the monthly guests and kept the community informed of our activities. With grace and humor she made everyone feel at ease and made it fun to be on the show with her. We proudly referred to her over the years as our own Diane Rehm. After these many years of service‚ she decided to step down and has turned the show over to our very wonderful and capable Molly Steadman. We will miss Mary Ellen’s voice coming over the radio but know that she is doing what is right for her now (spending lots of time at the beach for starters). As we say goodbye to Mary Ellen‚ we are delighted to have Molly step in for her. Molly brings her tremendous sense of humor and expertise in non-profits to everything she does so we know she will carry on the torch beautifully. Thank you‚ Mary Ellen‚ for everything you have done for the FRWRC over these many years. You are truly a phenomenal woman!

Monthly Board Meeting

We normally meet on the third Wednesday of every month. All meetings will be held at our office located at 316 N. Royal Avenue‚ Front Royal. Time is 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Meetings are open to everyone.
